Youth Bowlers
Scholarship Program
The Canadian Tenpin Federation (CTF) Youth Scholarship Program is designed to support young athletes in their pursuit of higher education while recognizing their dedication to the sport of tenpin bowling. This program provides financial assistance to eligible youth bowlers who demonstrate commitment, academic achievement, and sportsmanship.
To qualify, applicants must be registered CTF youth participants in good standing and have actively participated in at least 75% of their leagueās scheduled seasons for two consecutive years. Eligible applicants must be in grades 11 or 12, enrolled in a secondary school or college, or be 18 years of age or older, maintaining unimpaired amateur status in all athletics.
Scholarship funds are awarded based on merit, application validity, and available Scholarship Fund revenues, as determined by the CTF Scholarship Committee. All applications must be completed in full and submitted by September 1st to be considered.
Funds are sent directly to an accredited academic institution upon proof of acceptance into a recognized degree or diploma program. Applicants have two years to claim their scholarship before funds are returned to the Scholarship Fund.
Through this program, CTF is proud to invest in the future of young bowlers, helping them achieve both their athletic and academic goals.
There will two Scholarships issued each year; one to a female youth bowler and one to a male youth bowler.
This Scholarship will be issued on a once in a lifetime basis.
